Our Location: We are 45 km’s from Horsham at the base of the Grampians near Zumsteins. (3 ½ hours from Melbourne towards Adelaide.) Please phone before visiting. Customers wanting wholesale orders are encouraged to email us first to ensure availability of stock.
As we are situated near the Grampians we have access to many of this areas unique flora from our bush block. We are able to source local provence seed and material for revegetation purposes.
Specialising: We specialise in Australian Native Cut Flower Plants. Being cut flower growers ourselves we understand your needs, and the importance of certain specifications that you will need to sell your cut flower in the market place. All plants are hardened up in the outdoors so you can be sure that they will not be ‘soft’ for planting.
Labels: If your plants are for retail sale please request labels to go with your order. We have recently purchased a Tytag Plant Labelling System and can tailor make specialised labels for your plants. We found that many of the larger label supply businesses did not carry labels for our cut flower/local provence plants and it is for this purpose that we purchased this unique system.
Our passion: Bruce has lived in this area all his life and is committed to promoting the joy and practicality of planting Australian natives to all he comes in contact with. He is the 4th generation of Winfields to have grown Thryptomene Calycina for the cut flower market in this area. Sue also has the Australian native passion and even after 18 years in this area is learning every day.
Association members: Locally we are members of Business Horsham, Wimmera Growers of Australian Plants, and Laharum Landcare. State and Nationally we are members of International Plant Propagators Society, Sustainable Gardening Australia, Flowers Victoria, and Wildflowers Australia.
Customer service satisfaction: If after purchasing from us you have any concerns with your plants, please contact us. It is through feedback that we can enhance our services to you, our customer.
